Sophia Bayindiryan – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS girls varsity soccer team is undefeated after they beat Venice High School 3-0 Tuesday.
The girls are now ranked second in class 7A district 7.
Varsity soccer coach Delaney Riggins said, “Team chemistry is amazing this year both on and off the field. I would love to keep our undefeated streak continuing after winter break and leading to win districts.”

Sophomore Sophie Lemus is leading with eight total goals within seven games. Goalkeeper senior Gianna Carneglia has not let in any goals this season.
Riggins said midfielder junior Regan Kelly as well as senior McKenna Schwarz have excellent communication strategies on and off the field.
The girls’ soccer team will be back to play again on 7 p.m. Thursday against Berkeley Prep.
