(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Youth in Action (YIA) members have put together a pamphlet with tips to help Mustangs conquer exam week.

The pamphlet includes de-stressing mechanisms, national resources for those in need, and study tips.

De-stressing methods can include listening to music and meditating.

According to the pamphlet, “Listening to music with a slower tempo can quiet your mind and relax your muscles, which releases stress.”

Meditation can also help encourage focus and awareness. Some examples of meditation are taking deep breaths, clearing your mind, and sitting still and avoiding fidgeting.

The pamphlet also goes over necessary supplies to bring to exams such as pencils, pens, erasers, and a calculator (if applicable) to exams.
