Blood drives are a successful LRHS tradition.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS and Suncoast Blood Centers held a blood drive on Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Braden River Library.

Overall, there were 17 donors and 21 pints of blood were collected.

Each donation can save up to three lives which means the Mustangs helped save 63 in total.

President of the LRHS blood drive committee senior Reva Ghandi said, “We had an awesome turnout at the blood drive. It was great to see so many people donating blood to our local community and helping our hospitals.”
