Andrew Shackelford returns to LRHS as a teacher

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS welcomed alumni Andrew Shackelford as a physical education coach on Monday, Nov. 1.

This is Shackelford’s first year teaching. He has been a strength and conditioning coach at the college and private level for the past three years.

At LRHS he teaches Health Occupatonions through Physical Education (HOPE) and physical education and will teach weightlifting next semester.

Shackelford said, “I went to LRHS, so it is an awesome way to give back. I want to give the kids the best opportunity to live their dreams like I was able to do.”

At LRHS, Shackelford participated in track and field. He also played college football at Peru State in Nebraska where he got a degree in kinesiology.

Shackelford hopes to help Mustangs reach their goals of growth and succession.
