Sara Mills – Mustangs Ahead

In addition to hosting “Mustang of the Quarter,” the LRHS Parent Association will sell school gear in the cafeteria

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Parent Association (PA) is bringing back Mustang of the Quarter.

Mustang of the Quarter is a program that the PA has hosted in the past to honor Mustangs who have displayed kindness, compassion, selflessness and integrity. This includes Mustangs who help a fellow classmate who is struggling, stand up to a bully, or show any other act of kindness or compassion.

One Mustang from each grade is chosen and given a goodie bag containing donated gift cards, spirit wear and gift certificates.

Teachers nominate Mustangs and winners will be announced on Monday, Dec. 13.

To help fund this program the PA will be selling spirit wear during all lunches on Friday, Dec. 3.

Meanwhile, the PA has scheduled a second sale of Mustang gear in the school cafeteria.  The sale is set for all lunches Dec. 3.  The PA held its first sale of the year Tuesday.
