The LRHS Stampede promotes school spirit

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Friday, Oct. 29 the LRHS Stampede Club held a meeting about events they plan to host around campus.

The Stampede has many ideas for the upcoming next semester.

In the spring, the Stampede hopes to do a “Clash of Classes,” where classes battle each other in challenges.

Vocational Business teacher and Stampede adviser Joseph Cuervo said, “Clash of classes seems like a great idea for an event because everybody would want to get involved and it would be a lot of fun.”

Most recently the LRHS football team had their last home game which was senior night on Friday, Oct. 29. To help support, the Stampede wore their club shirts to the game for the theme of black out.

The next Stampede meeting will be held after school on Friday, Nov. 12 in room 591.
