SADD want to help Mustang decision-making

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) will host its first in-person meeting of the school year at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 in room 542.

SADD’s purpose is to promote safe and healthy behavior through student-created campaigns that are conducted throughout the course of the school year.

LRHS business teacher and SADD adviser Sharelies Rodriguez said, “I am absolutely looking forward for our first in person meeting. It is going to be amazing to have students back into the classroom for our club meetings and help spread the message.”

At the meeting SADD will talk about their mission and plans for the year. The meeting is open to any Mustangs interested in being part of SADD.

President junior Samantha Greenfield said, “Our student body is filled with many ideas about making our school a safer place, and I’m sure the attendance of our first meeting will prove that.”
