(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS varsity football team won their final home game of the season, Senior Night, on Friday, Oct. 29 with a score of 30-25 over St. Petersburg Catholic.

Head coach Rashad West said, “It was a good win for us for sure, a much needed one.”

Senior Cameron Madison said, “It was great to get a win on the final home game of my LRHS career with all the senior boys. We made the plays we needed to make a win.”

West added, “It was great to see the seniors win their last home game of their career, this will be a memory they’ll have for the rest of their lives.”

The Mustangs (3-6, 0-4) are now ranked fifth in their district. Their next game will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5 at Booker High School.
