LRHS cross country runners prepare for their season end

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS girls cross country team placed first place in the tri-counties championship on Saturday.

Senior Gracie Marston won the meet outright in a time of 19:15, and senior Ariana Majano placed second as an individual with a time of 19:45. These two led the way to victory.

Head coach Kristen Wickstrom said, “Our girls and boys teams ran incredibly well at the tri-county meet. Winning the tri-county championship is always a nice accomplishment, and our team showed that we are peaking at the right time. This was our best team performance to date, and it makes us excited about the possibility of placing in the top three at the FHSAA State Finals.”
