(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The University of Florida (UF) will be host a virtual college event exclusively for LRHS Mustangs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 20 through the UF admissions portal.

The University of Florida has risen in the ranks of the academic world and is now a top five university, peaking the interests of many LRHS students. Due to the institution’s popularity among Mustangs, a UF representative will personally speak about the school to LRHS students, specifically seniors.

During this online event the representative will discuss information about UF’s academic programs, majors, application tips, information on housing, student life and more. Mustangs will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

“Even if you don’t want to go to UF I would still recommend attending the virtual event. Its free to attend and its always a good thing to learn about more colleges, you never know if it may be your dream university,” said LRHS college and career advisor Ricardo Acevedo.
