Emma Braunstein – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH FL) – On Saturday, Oct. 9 the LRHS Raiders team competed in a county wide Raiders competition.

The girls’ team, led by junior Karen Tinoco placed second in the overall competition. They placed first in the 5k race, third in the rope bridge, and third in the cross-country rescue events.

Junior Faith Miller said, “I am very proud of my team, myself, and how we performed.”

The boys team also competed. They placed second in the 5k run, third in the rope bridge, and third cross county rescue events.

The Raiders next scheduled competition will be the state qualifier on Saturday, Oct. 30.
