(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Friday LRHS seniors painted their parking spots.

Seniors were required to submit their designs to math teacher and Senior Advisory Board adviser Ann Fleury and pay a fee of $5.

Senior Advisory Board member Isabella Heupel said, “The money earned from the parking spot painting will go towards future senior privileges.”

Seniors were given the opportunity to be creative and show their artistic sides when painting their parking spots.

Senior Mallory Lloyd said, “I painted a Spotify-formatted display with Taylor Swift’s song ‘22’ as the album cover. I chose this since this year’s senior class graduates in 2022.”

Senior Alyssa Ucciferri designed her spot around a Bible verse that meant something to her.

“I incorporated the logo of my youth group and the verse from Psalms 139:1,” added Ucciferri.

Many Mustangs considered this experience enjoyable and memorable.

Senior Campbell Laurvick said, “Although it was hot, I had so much fun being able to leave my mark at LRHS.”
