(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity swim team will compete in the county championship on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the G.T. Bray club pool.

As the three-time reigning champions, the Mustangs have a lot to live up to.

Sophomore Scott Barkey said, “I am really excited to see what the team will do at this meet. As the only team in Manatee County that is undefeated, I believe we are going to excel at counties.”

Lubino added, “It would be nice for the seniors to graduate as four-time champions of Manatee County if we won this meet.
