LRHS Mustangs look to bounce back

 (LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity volleyball team hopes to finish the season strong heading into the playoffs. 

After a 2-3 (20-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 13-15) loss against Braden River Tuesday the team is ready to bounce back.

Senior Mallory Lloyd said, “It was very disappointing that we lost, especially when we came so close, but we know what we need to work on in practice in order to prepare for our next games and for districts coming up.” 

The varsity Mustangs are now 15-8 on the season. 

The Mustangs next game will be against Port Charlotte on Oct. 3 at home. The freshman game will start at 5 p.m., JV at 6 p.m., and varsity at 7 p.m.
