Haven Hunter – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) Raiders team succeeded at the LRHS JROTC invitational meet on Sunday, Oct. 3.
There were a total of 27 teams present from all over central and south Florida. The girls team placed first and the boys team placed third for the Mustangs.
This was their first competition of the 2021 – 2022 school year.

Mustang junior Jackson Fox said, “Our success was definitely earned with a lot of determination and effort. We all needed both mental and physical toughness. It was 100 percent a team effort and everyone pushed each other to succeed.”
LRHS JROTC instructor Sgt. William Cassidy praised the Mustangs.
“This is quite an accomplishment with the competitive teams that were present,” he said.
