(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Spanish club is ready to kick off the school year with fun activities.

Spanish club is open to all Mustangs, no proficiency in Spanish is required, and Mustangs don’t have to be in a Spanish class to join.

Some activities the club is planning include cooking, crafts, learning about Latin American traditions, participating in volunteer projects, playing Spanish board games and tie-dying.

PClub president senior Maggie Burns said, “I am hoping to involve my peers in not only the language, but the Spanish culture as well. There are many opportunities ahead of us and I cannot wait to help make a difference in our Spanish-speaking community.”
