(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Florida Future Educators of America Organization (FFEA) is recruiting Mustangs for the upcoming school year.

FFEA allows Mustangs to become aware of career opportunities in education and nurture their interest in teaching as a career.

Organization members will be able to stay informed on the latest issues and advancements in the education profession.

LRHS English teacher and co-adviser Otisha Evans said, “It’s truly amazing to see Mustangs grow from the first day of school to the last and know that you have played an integral role in their education. FFEA provides a behind-the-scenes preview of what teaching entails.”

Ortisha and co-adviser art teacher Laura Victore hope to increase the enrollment in education programs and see more Mustangs taking an interest in teaching careers.

Victore said, “We hope to encourage all Mustangs to be interested in becoming educators as their career, or as a part of their life in the future. Almost every person will say that some teacher helped them through a tough time in their life, or helped them to realize their dreams, and really that’s what teaching is all about.”

Applications are available in rooms 569 and 509.
