Mustangs consider the upcoming TV season

Presley Long – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – There are four months left in 2021, but the entertainment industry is not slowing down. Here are my (and many other Mustangs’) top five most anticipated TV show releases of the fall.

 5. Foundation

Set for release on Nov. 24, “Foundation” is an American science fiction television series, that follows a band of exiles as they try to save the Galactic Empire from destruction. “Foundation” actors include Lee Pace as Brother Day, Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn, and Jared Harris as Hari Seldon. The concept for this looks amazing, and I can’t wait to see the whole picture.

4. Squid Game

“Squid Game” is an upcoming Korean drama produced by Netflix. It follows a band of contestants who must compete in children’s games in order to win a tempting prize of $40-million. But as the contestants play, they realize just how deadly their stakes are. This mystery thriller stars Park Hae Soo, Lee Jung Jae, and Wi Ha-Joon.  I’m excited to see what path this show will take.

3. Dexter New Blood

Serial killer “Dexter” returns to screens Nov. 7, and fans couldn’t be happier. “Dexter New Blood” is set a decade after the original show’s final episode, which was heavily criticized by fans. The show will be set in fictional Iron Lake, New York, where Dexter Morgan has changed his name and suppressed his killer urges. But the question in the air is, can Dexter keep that part of himself quiet, or will it be revealed again in a bloodier way? Fans are “dying” to find out.

2. Cobra Kai (season 4)

The dojos of Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang, and Miyagi Do are back in December for the ultimate showdown. A trailer released earlier this year shows the karate groups getting ready for the All-Valley Karate Tournament. We will see the returning faces of William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence), Ralph Macchio (Daniel Larusso), and Xolo Mariduena (Miguel Diaz). 10 episodes will make up “Cobra Kai” season four, and fans are ready to get back into the karate action.

1. You (season 3)

America’s favorite psychopath is back! On Oct. 15, we see the return of Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) in season three of the psychological thriller. The season revolves around the ever-developing relationship between Goldberg and Quinn, as they move to northern California and deal with pregnancy. “You” is one of the most anticipated returning shows to Netflix, and I hope it doesn’t disappoint.
