The LRHS stampede hopes to build school spirit

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Stampede had their first meeting on Friday, Aug. 27, seeking prospective members.

The Stampede is a club that promotes school spirit at home sporting events.

At the first meeting, they talked about the mission of the club, upcoming games and themes and club dues.

LRHS junior varsity (JV) football coach, Stampede adviser and vocational teacher Joseph Cuervo said, “Our goal is to have the best student section in Manatee County and to give our Mustang athletes a great home field advantage.”

The next meeting is scheduled after school Friday, Sept. 10. In room 591.
