Blood drives are a successful LRHS tradition.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Blood Drive committee is seeking new Mustang volunteers for the first annual Blood Drive scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 15.

The Blood Drive Committee organizes and helps manage the annual Blood Drive, where people donate blood for others in need.

Committee president senior Reva Gandhi said, “The Blood Drive is a great opportunity for service hours while providing the community with helpful resources that we need to survive.”

Mustangs can volunteer for the blood drive during their elective classes. 

Volunteers will perform various tasks such as making sure attendees are fed and hydrated, handing out pamphlets, and making sure the nurses on the bus have what they need.

The club’s first meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 13 at 7.00 a.m. in room 227.
