(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS welcomes many new teachers for the 2021-22 school year, including new Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher Hilari Bankovich.

“I teach because I love it and it has been a passion of mine for a very long time. Both of my parents were educators and growing up I could not wait to become one myself,” said Bankovich.

Bankovich began teaching at LRHS because of her good experiences with the school.

Her two sons are graduates of LRHS and her daughter is currently a sophomore.

Bankovich’s goal at LRHS this year is to help her students succeed. She also wants to create a good relationship with her colleagues.

Bankovich added, “Without the support of your teammates, it’s hard to be successful.”

Recognizing different students’ learning styles helps Bankovich teach in a way that is beneficial.

She enjoys being a part of a student’s academic career, as well as creating bonds with the students’ families.
