Ryan Javate and Presley Long – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Friday, Aug. 6, “The Suicide Squad”, the newest installment of the DC universe was released.

Do not assume that this movie is just a remake of the 2016 “Suicide Squad.”Director James Gunn has outdone himself for the newest installment in the DC universe.

We were laughing, practically out of our seats and on the floor, the whole movie. Gunn just knows how to deliver fresh, witty humor.

Whereas most DC films feel like they are trying too hard to be serious, “The Suicide Squad” offers a genuinely fun and entertaining movie for people who enjoy underdog characters.

A lot of the humor in this film comes from Sylvester Stallone (King Shark/ Nanaue) and Sean Gunn (Weasel) who play two loveable CGI characters in the film.

The cast of “The Suicide Squad” is an amazing collection of big-name actors such as Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Idris Elba (Bloodsport), and John Cena (Peacemaker). Each actor and actress in this movie gave their all to create an interesting and unique set of characters that viewers will be prepared to like.

We loved that the fight scenes had a very authentic, comic book feel. They were all parts bloody and violent, which made for an awesome, action-packed film. Every ripped appendage and every broken bone made us cringe in agony, but it still left viewers wanting more.

The cinematography had amazing shots worthy of a blockbuster film.

While some movies move slowly to develop characters and others have a very brisk pace, Gunn created both wrapped up into one package. Parts of the movie, generally action sequences, were brisk-paced, while other scenes were slow so watchers can see characters unique backstories.

Overall, this was a colorful, hilarious, and overall fun movie that will stick with fans of DC for a lifetime.
