LRHS students head to class on the first day of classes.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Mustangs returned to LRHS on Tuesday to kick off the 2021-2022 school year. Over 2400 students registered to start classes.

Sophomore Ella Dodge said, “I am excited to be back because I get to see all my friends that I could not see over the summer.”

Principal Dustin Dahlquist reflected on the day.

“We had a great first day of school,” he said, “that further proved there is no place better than the Ranch.”

Mustangs received class schedules and other forms in a morning home room.  Students with schedule issues can discuss them with school counselors Thursday, Aug. 12 and Friday, Aug. 13 during all lunches in room 535.

Mustangs requesting a schedule change are reminded not to go to Guidance until Thursday, Aug. 12.
