LRHS cheerleaders stunt for the fans.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Local children interested in cheerleading can attend a summer camp hosted by LRHS cheerleading summer 2021.

The camp will be held Monday, July 19 to Thursday, July 22 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the LRHS cafeteria.

The camp is welcome to any child ages five to eighth grade interested in becoming a cheerleader in training.

The camp is $100 per child for the week, or $80 if they sign up before Tuesday, June 1.

LRHS varsity cheer coach Sherri Haber stated, “I am so excited to see all the new faces at our camp this summer, and hopefully some future LRHS cheerleaders.”

Each camper will receive knowledge of all cheerleading basics, a free T-shirt, and a chance to participate in a junior varsity (JV) LRHS football game during the Fall season.

All participants should pack water and a snack for the lunch break and wear athletic clothing, and tennis shoes.

Masks are to be worn by all LRHS cheerleaders, staff, campers and parents during pick up and drop off.
