Knowing procedures can ease exam week

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS final exams will take place on May 24 – 27.

All exams have designated dates and times which can be found here.

Monday will be a regular school day’s length.

Periods one to five will be normal class periods, while sixth period will be from 12:25 – 2:25 p.m. for its exam. There will be no seventh period.

Tuesday to Thursday no backpacks will be allowed, and all students will have an early dismissal at 1 p.m.

For Mustangs who ride the bus, pick up times will be the same and Mustangs will head straight to brunch from 7:30 – 8 a.m., there will be no traditional lunch served on these days.

Afterwards Mustangs will head to their homerooms for study hall from 8:05 a.m. to 9:25 a.m.

Mustangs will then have ten minutes to get to their first exams.

Mustangs must stay in their designated exam classes and will not be allowed to leave their exams early for any reasons including medical appointments.

Mustangs are only able to leave in between passing periods.

Attendance secretary Darla Walker said, “Mustangs cannot be called out of class during exams and to leave between exams they must fill out the early release request form online.”

Mustangs will finish their exams at 1 p.m. and will follow the standard dismissal procedures.

Textbooks can be returned either before or after school in the media center.
