Cameron Madison – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The first LRHS Chorus concert of the year is scheduled for 6:30 on Thursday. The performance will take place in the auditorium in a socially distanced setting.

“This event is extremely exciting for us since this is our first concert,” said LRHS chorus director Giselle Panagiotakis. “We normally have three or four concerts organized and performed by this time of year but due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold them. This concert will be great for our loyal chorus members to show their talent and bringing the community together.”

Several Mustang seniors and juniors will perform solos along and the concert will feature various acapella selections.

The concert was originally scheduled for Tues. April 27, but was rescheduled due to a student quarantine issues.

LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist said after a year of COVID adjustments, he’s pleased to see the event in the auditorium.

“We’re looking forward to having more in-person events as times goes on with social distancing,” he said.
