(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Saturday, May 1 the LRHS cheerleading program held their annual silent auction, raising money for the program.

Each Mustang cheerleader brought in about five items each, including themed baskets, gift cards, food items, and much more.

Overall, about 360 items were put together by cheerleaders and their families.

Varsity LRHS cheer coach Sherri Haber stated, “I am so proud of these girls for putting in the time and effort to gather auction items, and I am so thankful for all of the LRHS family and friends who came to support our program.”

The overall goal of the auction was for cheerleaders to reach out to local businesses including TreeUmph!, Cheesecake Factory, Yeti, Monster Jam and more to receive donations.

“I am beyond thankful for the money we have raised over the past few months. It is going to be a big help for any competition, equipment or transportation cost,” stated LRHS junior varsity (JV) cheer coach Bailee French.

The cheer program also recently raised funds through Snap! Raise, a custom digital fundraiser which reached out to local businesses and families.
