Savannah Else – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- 83 Mustangs will be inducted into the LRHS chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 29.

The ceremony will consist of each inductee lighting a candle, which represents the society’s torch, signing the NHS book, and receiving their membership cards and certificates.

As per Center of Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, all inductees and their guests will be required to wear a mask and social distance throughout the entire event.

NHS advisor Tracy Gregory stated, “We are truly grateful to be able to a hold a ceremony during these unprecedented times. I look forward to seeing all of the family and friends coming to support these awesome students.”

In prior years, the ceremony was followed by a banquet to celebrate the newly inducted members. However, this year NHS is lucky to be able to perform an outside, shortened event.
