(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) will be giving out its annual faculty awards a little differently this year.

SGA usually recognizes teachers’ outstanding talents and personalities, but this year awards will be based on a campus-wide vote.

Mustangs can vote here.

The preliminary voting is extended to the student body, and is open until 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 28. The final vote will be held later this week.

All voting will be done online and Mustangs can nominate their teachers for awards ranging from “Most unforgettable” to “Most likely to be called mom or dad”.

SGA adviser Delaney Riggins said, “This year we opened the voting to students as well as staff to create a fun and lighthearted event that can be participated in by the whole school.”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the SGA is unable to host their traditional faculty awards show in the school auditorium.
