The Mustangs are preparing to play their first playoff game at 7 p.m. on Monday April 26, at home against Lennard High School. Lennard holds a 9-12 record and is currently last in the district.

Senior catcher John Schroeder stated, “I am extremely excited to play in the playoffs, I feel like as though we are prepared and that we have been playing our best baseball lately. We just have to go out there and compete every pitch and the rest will take care of itself.”

Schroeder, a fourth-year varsity player who is committed to Florida Atlantic University (FAU) for baseball, is looking to lead the Mustangs in the playoffs.  He is hitting a team best .342 and has been solid behind the plate all year.
