(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS boys varsity baseball team had another successful week, going 2-1 against tough competition in some very close games.

This week featured two home games and one away game that took place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday night the Mustangs faced off against IMG Silver High School at home. After multiple lead changes throughout the game pinch hitter Mustang senior Zac Bayor hit a game winning walk off double to win the game 7-6 in the eighth inning.

Bayor stated, “This was a big win for us and helped give us momentum to play with this week. I saw a pitch I liked and jumped on it, and it felt great. We are starting to hit the ball a lot better, so we are all excited about the playoffs.”
