(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As Mustangs filter back into school after an increase in quarantines last week, the boys varsity and girls junior varsity lacrosse teams get ready to return to the field.

It has been a week since the boys varsity and girls junior varsity lacrosse teams have been quarantined, and the teams hope to be able to jump right back into the season.

Senior Connor Rice said, “We are ready to come back better than ever.”

Friday is the boys varsity team’s first day back in season and they will be playing at 6 p.m. against Manatee in an away game.

The girls varsity will be playing again following the girls JV game on Friday.

The boys varsity team has also rescheduled their game against Tampa Alonso High School to Monday, April 5.
