(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS boys varsity baseball team has a record of 7-5 and looks to start their second half of the season, coming out strong after spring break.

After an 8-1 win against Sarasota Riverview High School, the Mustangs want to continue that momentum.

Senior pitcher and outfielder Tyson Meyer stated, “I am really excited to be back with the team and getting into the swing of things. I am looking forward to the second half of the season as I believe we can have a good run and have a big impact in the playoffs.”

The Mustangs face off against Palmetto High School at home at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will travel to Venice High School at seven p.m. on Friday.

The Mustangs are currently third in the district.
