Savannah Else – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS cheerleaders for the 2021-2022 season have officially been chosen.
On Thursday, March 11, over 80 Mustangs tried out for junior varsity (JV) and varsity teams.
Of the 80 Mustangs who tried out 28 made JV and 30 made varsity.
Varsity will be cheering at the boy’s baseball senior night on Tuesday, April 13, the girl’s flag football game on Friday, April 16, and the upcoming Spring football game.

From July 19 – 22 the cheer program will also host girls aged five to 13 at the LRHS mini cheer summer camp.
Varsity captain Taylor Folkers stated, “I am super hopeful for the upcoming season and am excited that I get the chance to lead such an amazing team. Hopefully we will be able to participate in more school events throughout the year.”
