(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS course registration has begun for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.

The 2021-22 Curriculum Guide is available here on the LRHS website.

Registration forms will be collected in English classes on Wednesday, March 10.

Guidance counselor Brandi Clark-Hankerson explained, “It is important to have conversations with your core class teachers in order to choose the proper class for your needs. If you feel that you were not placed correctly, switches can be made on a case-by-case basis in the first few weeks of the school year.”

Instead of noting core academic recommendations on the form, teachers will send them directly to the guidance office.

If a Mustang chooses an elective that requires approval, they will speak with the appropriate teacher and obtain the teacher’s signature.

Incoming freshmen must be aware of the requirements for graduation which are located on the LRHS website.

For information regarding dual enrollment classes or programs that require acceptance, refer to the registration video on the LRHS website.

Guidance counselors will be available during all lunch periods in front of the media center until Wednesday to answer Mustangs’ questions.
