Meghan Llamas – Mustangs Ahead 

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys’ lacrosse teams released their 2021 rosters as they enter their second week of practice.

The boys’ teams welcome new and returning players, announcing 20 players on their varsity roster and 14 on their junior varsity (JV).

Sophomore and returning player Landon Llamas said, “It feels good to be back and I cannot wait to start playing games again and I feel like we have got a really good team this year.”

Varsity head coach Jason Morales said, “This is the current roster, but we have about seven more players joining the team after winter sports are finished.”

The annual parent meeting for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse was held Feb 1 on the LRHS football field.

At the meeting, the coaches worked to keep the parents informed on how topics such as player packs, player contracts, rules, and fundraising.

Both lacrosse teams at the Ranch are completely self-funded and rely heavily on fundraising as they receive no money from the school or district.
