Mustangs perform safely at Friday’s lip sync battle

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Theater has been closed due to COVID-19, but that has not stopped the drama department from putting on their very own Lip Sync battle Friday.

“This project was such a fun project and a lot of hard work. This was an amazing opportunity to learn more about theatre,” said freshman Caden Shirley.

Theater students were directed to pick any kind of music from contemporary to hip-hop and choreographed their own dances for their music choice.

“It has been a weird year we haven’t had an opportunity for real performances to take place so this was a fun way for them to perform in front of their classmates,” said drama director Roxane Caravan.

The show wasn’t a contest.  It was a chance for Mustangs to demonstrate their talents to classmates.
