Zach Fenimore-Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The fans were cheering, my heart was beating fast, and it was my night to be recognized for all my hard work and dedication to the basketball team.
LRHS Senior Night was an amazing experience for me that I got to share with my teammates, friends, fans, and family.
To add to my family and friends all being at my game, we were playing our biggest rival, Braden River High School, at home in one of the most important games of the season.
After walking with my family to recognize seniors and then being announced as a starter, the nerves started to build up. However, by the first minute of the game I was focused, and my nerves were gone.

After a few assists and steals we were looking good as a team. We led by a commanding 15 points.
One of the highlights was in the fourth quarter when the student assistants and I played together. We were up by a lot and being able to play with them was a lot of fun.
The crowd was going crazy, and the student assistants were able to put up some shots but unfortunately, were not able to score. Soon the buzzer sounded, and we won the game 65-42.
I loved senior night as I was able to see all my friends and family after the game and received senior gifts from the team. Overall senior night was a great night, and I could not have asked it to go any better than it did.
