If the Buccaneers win, it will be their second Super Bowl win ever. There are only 13 teams in the NFL with two or more Super Bowl wins and the Buccaneers have a chance to make it 14.
“It is a very unique Super Bowl this year, it’s not very often, in fact never before, that you see a team host the super bowl while playing in their own stadium, and that alone is a pretty cool thing to see,” said sophomore Jackson Osborne.
Sophomore Ryan Froug said, “I think it will be a really good game watching a legend like Tom Brady facing up against who a lot of people say is the next great quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.”
Tom Brady for the Buccaneers is breaking double digits this year, making his tenth appearance in the Super Bowl.
“I am not a huge fan of Tom Brady, but it would be cool and impressive if he could win his seventh super bowl,” said junior Matthew Perri.
Senior Ethan Thomas said, “I really would like to see Antonio Brown win a super bowl, he has had a good career and messed up a couple times, but he is one of the best receivers I have ever seen and definitely deserves a ring.”
Freshman Spencer Boyer said, “I typically tend to watch college football but when I watch pro, I like the Buccaneers. It would be cool to watch the team we live by win the Super Bowl.”
Junior Maya Rengifo said this may be the first Super Bowl she cares about. “I am not usually a fan of football; however, if I were going to watch football, I would definitely watch the Buccaneers play in the Super Bowl.”
