Mackenzie Sisson- Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Thursday, Jan. 28, yearbook photos will be released to Mustangs during their second period.

After a semester of rigor, the yearbook staff is excited to see their work pay off.

The production process behind the yearbook functions differently for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19 and social distance protocol.

Yearbook adviser and art teacher Greg Klein outlined the yearbook staff’s adapted plans for this year.

“There is generally a class for yearbook where all the staff meet and put together the yearbook but due to COVID-19 this was not possible. The editors suggested we start a yearbook club so that Mustangs of all modalities could participate, and we could still have a yearbook this year,” said Klein.

The yearbook staff meets regularly to discuss their progress, with Klein occasionally checking in once a month.

Despite the circumstances, yearbook staff members are working diligently to ensure Mustangs receive yearbooks this year.
