(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS is hosting a new volunteer event called “LRHS is Kind.” This event allows all Mustangs to have an opportunity to earn community service hours.

All Mustangs, including on and off campus learners, can create thank you cards for essential workers such as medical and transportation workers and public servants.

Completing five cards will count for half an hour of service. The maximum number of cards that can be created for service hours is 20.

Stay updated on important LRHS news and share what you like by following our Twitter @LRHSNews1, Instagram @mustangs_ahead, email, and follow the Mustangs Ahead Podcast on iTunes

Cards must be finished by Monday, Feb. 1 and dropped off at Room 587 before or after school.

Make sure to provide a name somewhere on your cards to receive credit.

LRHS math teacher and Lakewood Leaders adviser Meghan Sugalski said, “This is a great opportunity for all students, both on campus and off campus to receive hours.”
