Cameron Madison – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Mustangs esports team is coming off a 6-2 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the PlayVS eastern regional league.
With a new season coming up the program is adding new games to their line up including “Madden,” “FIFA,” “League of Legends,” “Smite” and “Super Smash Bro’s Ultra.”
The team will now offer not only the traditional competitive games, but non-league pickup games against local high schools as well.

Head Coach Mark Marron said, “I would like to see the program grow in size to allow for more competitiveness of the program, building off last season’s success and potentially winning it all is our goal.”
Meanwhile, the team is looking to add more girls to the roster in this upcoming season.
Team advisor and history teacher William Wallen said, “Our teams are co-ed, and we would be thrilled to have girls participate and join.”
