Maddie Forman and Gage Gongas – Mustangs Ahead break
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This week Mustangs were asked, “Are you excited for a break after such an unusual year and what are your plans?”
Thanksgiving break begins on Monday, Nov. 23 and goes until Friday, Nov. 27 this year.
Senior Dallas Rodriguez said, “I am really looking forward to a break after this crazy year. I think everyone could use a break and I am excited to spend time with my close friends and family. We have plans to socially distance around a pool.”
Junior Charlize Ucciferri said, “I am excited for Thanksgiving as the food is always delicious and I will be able to see my extended family. Honestly, I am happy to just have a chance to relax and take a break from school.”

Junior Ben Pruim agreed with Ucciferri.
“I am happy to get a break from school and everything. I am going to take this week to spend time with my family and sleep in,” Pruim said.
Thanksgiving will be on Thursday, Nov. 26.
Sophomore Anna Gongas said, “I am really excited for Thanksgiving break as I usually participate in Friendsgiving with my friends, though I am not certain if that will happen this year. Overall, I am just thankful to still be able to spend time with the people I love.”
