“The Lady Mustangs ran incredibly well, marking themselves in school history as the second highest placing girl’s cross-country team. This accomplishment is truly the culmination of months of hard work and dedication” said LRHS cross country coach, Kristin Wikstrom.

“I am so impressed with their resilience and determination,” she continued. “This accomplishment is truly the culmination of months of hard work and dedication. We call our running mustangs “Grit Gals,” and they truly lived up to the name, committing the process and showing up each and every day ready to compete and give their best. I couldn’t be more excited for these girls and all that they accomplished this year. In a season plagued with uncertainty and change, they rose to the occasion and truly established themselves as a powerhouse in the state of Florida.”
