(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This week LRHS seniors were asked, “How do you feel about submitting college applications with the uncertainty of college next year?”
Senior Maya Wellard said, “It is really nerve-wracking to submit college applications in general and the uncertainty of whether or not we’ll get the same college experience makes it even more stressful.”
Many college’s deadlines fall between the months of November and January this year.
Senior Blake Allen stated, “I find this whole process to be exciting. I am looking forward to seeing what schools I get into and what my plans are for next year. However, the uncertainty about whether we will be able to attend college next year is nerve-wracking.”

Senior Peyton Frischer has a similar mindset as Allen.
“I am excited to see what colleges I get into, but I am also nervous for the outcome of next year. I hope I will get to experience my first year of college at a college campus with my friends,” Frischer said.
If you are applying to a college, it is important to know the important dates, to not miss out on deadlines.
Senior Riley Foley expressed, “I feel like it is still important to submit all of the college applications in time because you never know what could happen in the future. We may all be able to attend college next year, so I am going to continue to study and work hard.”
