LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) members show off “generational” spirit.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)-During spirit week LRHS’s Student Government Association (SGA) has not only been playing music in the cafeteria but has been fundraising while doing it.

Throughout the week, SGA has been in the cafeteria letting Mustangs request a song for $1 or skip a song for $2.

All profits will be donated to United Way, a non-profit organization that works across the country to improve education, strengthen financial stability, and help make communities better and healthier.

“This has been a really cool way of getting people to help donate and support a good cause,” said senior SGA member Ella Grogan.

SGA will continue to play music lunch until Friday, Oct. 30.

Thursday, Oct. 29 was “Generations Day” when freshmen dress as babies, sophomores as toddler, juniors as adults, and seniors as senior citizens.
