Homecoming 2020 starts with Class Color Day

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS 2020 Spirit week has officially started off with Mustangs dressing in their class colors on Monday, Oct. 26.

Both Mustangs and faculty have been anticipating this week in hopes that it will bring a sense of normalcy to this unusual year.

Junior Alyssa Ucciferri is one of many Mustangs who is glad spirit week finally here.

Ucciferri said, “I believe spirit week will help everyone feel normal again and even have some fun even with COVID-19.”

The rest of spirit week is as follows: Tuesday, Oct. 27 is decade day, Wednesday, Oct. 28 is sports day, Thursday, Oct. 29 is generation day, and Friday, Oct. 30 is the traditional LRHS spirit day.

Mustangs can also vote for homecoming court on Monday, Oct. 26 and Tuesday, Oct. 27 through Schoology. Mustangs can join under the group tab on Schoology for their respective grade level.

Each student can only vote for their grade level.
