(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Mustangs varsity football team will continue their season and travel to Hollins High School on Friday.

The Mustangs are coming off a tough loss against the Venice Indians, who are ranked seventh in the state.

Football Coach Rashad West said, “Losing such a tough game gave us a chance to see how much work we must do as a program. I am looking forward to putting the loss behind us and getting back to work as we prepare to play Hollins.”

As the Mustangs continue their seasons, there have been ticket sale changes due to COVID-19.

To buy tickets for football games or any sporting event, fans must now purchase their tickets online on the GoFan website.

The website can be found on the school website under the “Athletics” tab.

“I love this new way of buying tickets; not only is it easier but I also feel as though it is safer than buying them at the event as it limits contact,” said senior Daniel Hofer.

After purchasing tickets, one must either have a digital copy of the ticket or provide a printout of it at the event.

LRHSS athletic director Kent Ringquist said, “During past games, we have had several people only have a screenshot of their ticket. This means that the ticket attendant has, unfortunately, had to turn them away as we cannot accept a screenshot.”

Once the ticket attendants have checked the ticket, they will validate the tickets to be sure only one person gets in per ticket.

The Mustangs are 3-2 on the season and Friday is a great opportunity for the Mustangs to get back on the winning track.
