(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs have an opportunity to help raise money for the United Way Charity and compete with other schools for the most money.

Money will start being collected Monday, Oct. 26 in Mustangs’ first periods.

The class that raises the most money by Friday, Oct. 30 will get to decide who will kiss a cow: discipline dean Thomas Bellantonio or LRHS business teacher and junior varsity football coach Tommy Cuervo.

Agriculture teacher McKenzie Gorski said, “The cow Bellantonio or Cuervo will be kissing is almost a year old on Saturday, Nov. 14th! He is a Simmental Cross, and is born and bred here on campus. A true ‘Mustang’ if you will.”

Cuervo joked, “The good news is, we raise money for the United Way and the better news is we get to see Mr. Bellantonio give Onyx here a big ol’ smooch.”
