Homecoming open to all Mustangs

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Although many events this year have been cancelled, spirit week at the Ranch will continue.

In previous years, spirit week was a fun filled week leading up to the homecoming football game and dance. This year, the week will have a similar structure with a football game on Friday, but no dance Saturday.

Student Government Association (SGA) President Brooke Rypel said, “One of the biggest changes is that due to COVID-19 we will not be doing any after school homecoming activities.”

Everyone, including hybrid and e-learners, will be able to participate in spirit week.

Rypel said, “Both hybrid and e-learners can send in a picture of them dressed for the day to be posted for people to see. This means whether someone is at school or at home they can still participate!”

The week will go as follows: Monday as class color day, Tuesday as decades day, Wednesday as sports day, Thursday as generation day and Friday as the classic LRHS spirit day.
